"Order my steps in thy word..." (Psalm 119:133) There were times that David had experienced the annointing of the Lord on his life. Then there were those times David walked alone because of his sin. Yes, God still loved David, and David knew that. But "can two walk together, except they be agreed?" (Amos 3:3) God cannot bless your life when there is sin present. There are false teachers and preachers today that say "we all sin more or less every day." The problem is they sin more than they do less. If we are practicing sin, God cannot bless that! God had to send the Prophet Nathan to confront David about his sin. David repented and once again had a broken and contrite heart, which God could bless and use.
How often does the church miss walking with the Lord as Enoch did, because they do not deal with the sin in their life? They try to pretend that everything is okay, but there is no annointing on their life any longer. You must "Confess it" admit it to yourself and to God. "Repent of it" by turning 180 degrees and going the other direction. "Run to God" He is the only one that is able to get you back on the right track. He will draw you back into His fellowship. God is waiting to take a walk with you, if you will but humble yourself and repent of whatever stands between you and Him. Are you ready for Him to order your steps in His Word?
